Why don't people in technology fear artificial intelligence?
From my perspective, folks in the tech world don't fear artificial intelligence (AI) because they understand its workings and potential. They see AI as a tool rather than a threat, a way to automate tasks and solve complex problems, not as a terminator-style robot uprising. They are also aware of the checks and balances in place to prevent AI from going rogue. Their confidence comes from understanding that AI is only as good or as bad as the humans who design and control it. The fear of AI often stems from a lack of understanding rather than the technology itself.
